Why i chose these specific paintings and fabric work

These paintings specifically caught my eye especially because i see there are small elements of my culture for example, the colours, the clothing, the fabric which has inspired me to include int my own work. I feel like these will benefit my work and also add great components to my work. I like how some parts of the paintings are some what realistic but then are some components of the paintings which are abstract which is what i would like to do to my work.

The painting with the lady and the tiger inspired me the most as it reminded me of my home country which is Bangladesh and our national animal is the royal bengal tiger and the sunset in the back just really inspires me as it just brings me alot of joy to look at. If i was to create my own work like and adapt it, i would really like adding gold reflexes it to it and also our language written onto the painting.

By also adding elements of my landscape painting skills i think in my opinion it will be a great way to adapt my paintings but i would like to also incorporate 3D items like traditional fabric which have patterned work to it and jewels on them.

Another thing which will inspire me is also photography of wearing traditional clothes like on of the images that are there which will also be great development for my work.
