Ball project reflection

i can reflect alot from the ball project as this helped with group communication and agreeing with each other's ideas and building on eachothers ideas. Also i have tried new sculpting techniques which i have not tried before but sculpting and weaving too.

We came up with this idea because we wanted to have a sentimental value to this work. We came up up with the idea of overcoming your fears of large things and us recreating a giant spider imitates that idea that even though something can look big and scary theres always a way to not fear it and its harmless.

during the process of making we had a clear structure of what we wanted to do ans how were going to make it by constructing an idea page and labelling the list of materials and processes we are going to us.

The problems we encountered were constructing it into the final piece and the structure we thought we had was a good structure but it was quite difficult to position and put in the corner.

however discussions with other people has helped me massively as normally i enjoy doing independent work but explaining my ideas helps my communications skills and we could all expand on eachothers ideas.

One thing i have enjoyed as an artist was actually enjoying constructing my work especially in a group as we all split up the tasks equally and we all managed to finish at the same time which constructed a very good final piece at the end.
