Reflection

This part of design which was textiles craft is that textiles is not always about fashion designing but can take any shape or form, this weaving exercise has helped me expand my knowledge about textiles craft as its not always about going in and out to create a pattern but it can make very weird patterns and can even miss gaps.

Working in groups has been very beneficial for me only because my idea communication has been developing and expanding our ideas together.

One thing i had really liked of our work is that when we compared our work to everyone else, we did something which was out of the ordinary and creating something extremely abstract and made it look like something random however there was a symbolism behind it, we used the input of our beginning project which was what our favourite animal was and what sound would they make when they are walking.

What we tried to achieve was by using the inspiration of Sheila Hicks in our work by creating long and spontaneous lines in our weaving final piece, we also wanted to add contrast with the use of colour to show exactly what we were trying to achieve.
