Reflection

For our primer we were asked to take 5 photos in a sequence in different angles and what i decided to do was take pictures of my journey to university from being at home, the train , outside the train station and reaching the uni which basically fits in with the concept of time based media which shows the steps and sequence of me reaching to my destination.

After our primer we were then asked to complete several tasks using our camera or mobile phones to carry out some activities by taking pictures and videos and also merging them together. One of the tasks were to capture images of light occurrences for example mine were the shadows of the sun reflection on the window leaving a very intricate pattern by putting my lighting exposure to the lowest level.

Another one of our tasks was to gather different object around the Uni and was asked to create a construction or arrangement for example the classroom chairs, we also used our physical form and got into different positions and also used recycled items and played around with the light in a dark room. We used a range of items to help shine our light for example coloured tissue paper which changed the colour of the torch colour and also used a water bottle which had intricate engravings on it to leave a patterned shadow. We also stacked chairs as well in the classroom and made something very abstract out of it too.
